FlixBus, a German-based long distance bus carrier, has announced its intention to begin offering services in the United States. The company made the announcement in Los Angeles, where it has stated it will launch its initial service.
Known for its bright lime green buses in Germany, the long-haul bus carrier would have stiffer competition in the United States. Greyhound and Mega Bus, both British-owned companies, have the market cornered in the United States.
