California hydrogen-powered train will be able to travel 79 mph and carry 108 passengers

In 2024, a hydrogen-powered train with capacity for 108-seated passengers, capable of traveling at 79 mph, will be introduced into the Redlands Passenger Rail Project.

Stadler, an international rail vehicle construction company headquartered in Bussnang, Switzerland, will develop the FLIRT H 2, the first of its kind in the United States.
