A group that wants to bring back passenger railroad service on Virginia’s Eastern Shore is asking for input from the public.
The group, the NYP&N Resurrection, in November pitched a proposal to provide transportation — including tourist excursions and other services — using the existing railroad tracks that run down the Eastern Shore’s spine. Two representatives from the organization made the presentation to the Accomack-Northampton Transportation District Commission at its November meeting.
