The Union Pacific Railroad Company (UP) recently announced a workforce reduction of 475 employees, according to company officials.
This is the first of many planned workforce reductions through 2020, according to UP officials. Roseville is home to the largest rail facility on the West Coast stretching more than six miles long and covering 915 acres, according to officials.
