The Daily CSX: FBI arrests three for CSX robberies spanning 18 years in Buffalo, New York

Three men in Buffalo, N.Y., have been arrested and charged with robbing from CSX railcars over a period of 18 years. The men face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Officials closed in on Paul Krieger, Ray Chrostowski and Nicholas Birdwell, all Buffalo natives, after multiple sources alerted the FBI in April. The thefts had been occurring on CSX property since 2000, according to CSX officials.
