CSX Corp. (Nasdaq: CSX) Friday pledged an undisclosed, multimillion dollar investment to five nonprofits supporting military service personnel, first responders and their families.
The initiative, CSX Pride in Service, consists of two-year agreements with Blue Star Families, First Responders Children’s Foundation, Operation Gratitude, Operation Homefront and Wounded Warrior Project. The nonprofits provide services including care packages, employment for military spouses, assistance for care providers, scholarships and more.
