Possibility provincial government not planning to renew subsidy beyond current fiscal year

With a federal election rapidly approaching, I believe there needs to be much more mention of a subject that should occupy a prominent place among campaign issues critical to Cape Breton and its future. 

I’m referring to the dormant railway line between St. Peter’s Junction and Sydney, which is now in danger of being dismantled as early as next spring. And, once it’s gone, it won’t be coming back, and important options for the island’s long-term well-being will no longer exist.
