Thanksgiving travel got off to a bumpy start at Penn Station on Wednesday after a switch malfunction delayed service.
Long Island Rail Road reported delays in east-bound service at Penn Station and canceled trips Wednesday evening because of a switch problem on Amtrak’s equipment outside one of the East River tunnels.
