The Marshall City Commission approved, on Thursday, a resolution to support Marshall Depot board’s efforts in maintaining the job of the local Amtrak station’s customer service representative/ticket agent, which is set to end June 29.
“As you well know, we are a very strong and hard working Amtrak served community and we are very appreciative of Amtrak and very much value the long-distance train that we have, that’s the Texas Eagle, and it comes out of the Marshall Depot,” Marshall Depot board member, Christina Anderson, said during the public comment portion of the meeting.
