MATFIELD GREEN, Kan. (KAKE) –
Authorities say it could be early Tuesday morning before tracks are reopened in Chase County after straight line winds cause a train derailment.
The derailment happened at around 3:40 a.m. Monday southwest of Matfield Green and was approaching the Kansas Highway 177 overpass above the highway. Crews were on scene moving the cars.
