Editorial: Amtrak must not kill West Virginia’s New River Train forever

Two trains popular with tourists might not run this year, leaving southern West Virginia without one of its largest tourism draws and the outside money it brings in.

The New River Train has been canceled for 2019. Meanwhile the status of the Autumn Colors Express, operated by Rail Excursion Management Co., is unclear.
