Canceled train? Blame the engineer who didn’t show up, New Jersey Transit boss says

NJ Transit’s boss placed the blame for a rash of canceled trains in the past week on train engineers who don’t show up for work.

Kevin Corbett, NJ Transit executive director and a Morris & Essex line commuter, broke the problem down during an interview on Tuesday, explaining there are not enough engineers to cover assignments if someone unexpectedly doesn’t show up for a shift.
