Brightline reports $23.8 million loss despite increased ridership in second quarter

Despite a 42 percent increase in ridership, Brightline lost $28.3 million during the second quarter of this year, according to unaudited financial statements made public Friday.

The loss is a slight increase from the first quarter, when Brightline reported losing $28.2 million.
