The Fort Morgan Amtrak station is thriving today more than ever. The station, which sits at South Ensign and Main Street, generated over $300,000 last year with a ridership of 3,448 passengers, and those numbers are expected to be even bigger this year.
“Our Fort Morgan station is the only stop between Denver and McCook, Nebraska,” Marc Magliari, a spokesman for Amtrak said. “It’s a very valuable and important station for our service.”
