VERO BEACH, Fla. — Despite a potentially crippling setback in court, Indian River County is not welcoming the concept of high speed rail with open arms. Just before Christmas, Indian River County lost its main legal battle with Brightline.
A federal appeals court in Washington upheld a lower court ruling that the train was properly financed by tax-exempt private activity bonds.
