The contentious debate over how a federal rail project might affect Ashland and Hanover County continued Wednesday with the county’s passage of a new resolution on the matter and a public hearing held at a local high school.
Residents from both sides of the county line arrived at Patrick Henry High School on Wednesday night to air their grievances about potential routes for DC2RVA, the federal rail project planned to run between Washington and Richmond.
