Gov. Andrew Cuomo followed in his father’s footsteps as a protector of the precious Adirondack wilderness when he filed a complaint with the federal Surface Transportation Board, insisting on the removal of oil tankers currently being warehoused on railroad track in the Adirondack Forest Preserve.
Cuomo’s mission to have this junkyard removed was successful.
