CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. (WVIR) – Governor Ralph Northam recently announced a new agreement to expand Virginia’s rail lines along the Richmond-to-Washington, DC. corridor. The project is expected to take five million cars and one million trucks off the commonwealth’s highways.
The Democratic governor is calling this a game-changer for the state by potentially opening up rail service in under-served parts of Virginia.
