Amtrak has made significant cuts to service in response to COVID-19-related plunges in ridership, including San Antonio’s daily routes, but the city remains part of its expansion talks.
Ray Lang, Amtrak’s senior director for national state relations, delivered a presentation to the Rail Passenger Association on Sept. 23. on expanding networks in underserved markets with help from potential programs developed through Congress.
