Amtrak’s passenger train operating between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth, Texas, will continue to offer daily train service, but some of the trains its passengers connect with will not, company officials said Thursday.
Amtrak, a nationwide provider of passenger rail service, is reducing the frequency of its trains across the nation in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Ridership numbers have fallen by more than half because passengers are avoiding travel in accordance with federal and state health guidelines, officials said.
