Consider this class the Advanced Placement class of NJ Transit locomotive engineers, who completed their training faster than the usual 20 months.
Officials held a graduation ceremony for 11 conductors Wednesday at NJ Transit’s Meadowlands Maintenance Complex, who joined a special engineer training class that was completed faster because they are already trained on railroad rules.
