Virgin Trains USA‘s plan for a station at Walt Disney World has the potential for huge tourism returns in the region.
Miami-based Virgin Trains and Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts Inc. apparently in November signed a memorandum of understanding signaling serious discussions on a proposed train stop at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, according to VIrgin Trains’ monthly traffic report released on Dec. 20 by the Washington D.C.-based Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, an organization charged by U.S. Congress to promote a fair and efficient municipal securities market.
