Here’s the big dilemma with transportation in San Antonio:
We know that traffic will go from heavy to unbearable over the next two decades, with an estimated 1.1 million new residents in Bexar County by 2040. But until we actually experience the daily, unrelenting gridlock that comes with such growth, we might not be able to summon the political will to make the investment in a transformational, light-rail system. And by then, it will be too late.
