The high-speed rail project that is intended to take travelers between Houston to Dallas in a 90-minute trip was raising hopes and doubts at a transportation meeting hosted by the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, April 9.
The train, which is expected to have a dedicated rail built between both cities, would help ease congestion along major freeway corridors, said David Hagy, regional vice president of external affairs for Texas Central, the company that is building the train.
