Two Chesterfield County teens were standing on one set of railroad tracks watching a train pass by when they were struck and killed by another train running on parallel tracks coming from the opposite direction, police said Thursday.
The passing train they were watching “was very loud, and they apparently weren’t paying attention to the other train, which was coming up from behind them,” said Chesterfield police Lt. John Miller.
