CADILLAC — The city of Cadillac could soon be on track for passenger rail service after a study concludes next summer.
According to the Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers, the number of people using trains in Michigan has been steadily increasing after decades of decline. In 2017, more than 150,000 people traveled by train in Michigan, and since 2015, the number of passengers has grown by more than 5,000.
