POMPANO BEACH — Tri-Rail will increase most of its fares starting Jan. 1, the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority voted Friday.
The rail service — with 18 stops from Mangonia Park to Miami International Airport — has increased fares at least three times in its 30-year history, according to Palm Beach Post archives, the most recent being in 2009.
