Nashvillians will vote in May to determine whether they’re willing to pay higher taxes to fund Mayor Megan Barry’s proposed $5.2 billion mass-transit plan.
Transit-funding referendums are tricky because they’re dependent on a variety of factors, from cost and specific projects to which tax increases are included. Ultimately, no two cities are alike.
