Season two on Discovery Channel to begin with an in-depth special on Canada’s luxury tourist train
VANCOUVER, Oct. 2, 2018 /CNW/ – This fall, season two of MIGHTY TRAINS kicks off with an immersive account of the world’s largest private luxury tourist train, Rocky Mountaineer. On October 14 at 4 P.M. PDT, viewers will join host Teddy Wilson on a journey through the Canadian Rockies, and get an inside look at what it takes to create a memorable experience for guests on board Rocky Mountaineer.
The one-hour episode will showcase the scenic excursion from Vancouver to the Canadian Rockies, showing off stunning landscapes of rugged mountains and glistening oceans and lakes. Host Teddy Wilson will delve into the behind-the-scenes operations, from Rocky Mountaineer’s railyard to the on-board guest experience. Viewers will gain insight from numerous members of the Rocky Mountaineer team, including the train manager, onboard hosts, and rail mechanics.

MIGHTY TRAINS is in its second season on Discovery, and airs on more than 100 international broadcasters, including networks in Canada, the U.K., Germany, Australia, France, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Asia. The series highlights the world’s most notable and unique train marvels, diving into the inner workings of each locomotive. MIGHTY TRAINS season two will air on Discovery every Sunday between October 14th and November 1st, at 4 P.M. PST / 7 P.M. EST.
