It’s been a bumpy ride for SunRail since Central Florida’s $1.2 billion commuter-rail system opened its first phase stretching 32 miles from Sand Lake Road to DeBary in May 2014.
Ridership has fallen well short of its goal of 4,300 passengers a day. It’s been closer to 3,100 passengers lately.
