Norfolk Southern Corp. has given the Atlanta City Council an apparent ultimatum with a Monday deadline: Approve the development deal that would allow us to move our headquarters to your city or the deal’s off.
“I would hate to see this slip away,” Jim Squires, the Norfolk-based railroad’s chairman, president and CEO, told the Atlanta Business Chronicle. “But if it does, we will move on.”
