Cross-Hudson train commuters better hope there’s a Plan B for the ailing rail tunnel they use — because prospects for federal funding look grim.
President Trump has vowed to veto the $1.3 trillion spending bill if it includes a planned $900 million to replace the tunnel and the Portal Bridge, a key rail link to the city. To pass the bill by Friday and avert a government shutdown, lawmakers may give in.
