The Cemeteries Transit Center Project has reached its halfway point, and officials say the work is on schedule. Nearby residents and business owners, however, are still grappling with the pain road construction brings.
The RTA streetcar construction has forced the closure of City Park Avenue and Canal Boulevard for more than two months, but work has finally hit the halfway point. Some residents and business owners are still frustrated with the tremendous traffic disruption, though some have come to accept the work as a part of New Orleans life.
