PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. —
As two railroad causeways in Cass County come down, the finger pointing begins. Property owners said no one wants to take responsibility for putting an endangered species ahead of their lives, homes and businesses.
“They just can’t wash us all out of here and not take any responsibility,” Roger Schmidt said.
