Area transportation officials and city planners are discussing a new version of an idea from the last century that could make local, short-distance rail travel a viable option again.
On Wednesday, Nov. 1, Hudsonville City Manager Patrick Waterman held a private meeting with Tim Hoeffner of MDOT Rail, Greg Holcombe of Urban Innovations and representatives of other interested groups.
