Topekans must fight Amtrak’s plans to lay off its Topeka ticket agent, James Woods, City Councilwoman Sylvia Ortiz said Tuesday.
“We cannot let this die,” she said.
Woods was among those in attendance as Ortiz made an impassioned plea near the end of Tuesday’s weekly council meeting for residents to join her in seeking to save his job.
