A baby elephant was killed after it was hit by a speeding passenger train in West Bengal on Wednesday following which railway traffic was hit on Kharagpur-Tatanagar section.
Train services were disrupted for several hours in the Kharagpur-Tatanagar section of South Eastern Railway this morning following a mishap near Sardiha station under West Bengal.
