MOLINE, Ill. (WIFR) — Several U.S. Congress members in Illinois have backed support for an Amtrak route between Chicago and Moline.
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), and Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-IL-17), urged the U.S. Department of Transportation to issue an extension for federal funding of the proposed Amtrak route.
