Passengers on the New Haven line described “nightmare” train rides from New York to Connecticut early Sunday morning after hours-long delays caused by thunderstorms.
Some riders said they spent several hours stranded on the tracks and shuffled between trains after leaving Grand Central early Sunday morning. On one train, riders said they were given emergency drinking water, while others were given no food or drink as rain water dripped down the center aisle.
