A $2.3 million study about ways to make a commuter train feasible between Charlotte and Lake Norman area will continue, after a vote by the Metropolitan Transit Commission on Wednesday.
MTC member and Huntersville Mayor, John Aneralla, had proposed repealing the LYNX Red Line/North Corridor study, which is paid for by CATS (the Charlotte Area Transit System), and aims to run a commuter train between Charlotte and this area.
