Central Florida’s SunRail commuter train inaugurated its overdue service in Osceola County a year ago today, with estimates that the four new stations in that county would result in 2,000 additional rides daily.
One of the first Osceola riders, Randy Austin, president of Austin Environmental Consultants in Kissimmee, brought all of the enthusiasm SunRail could have hoped for. A year later, he remains a fan on the commuter train.
