Boston opinion: ‘Slippery rail’ and lowered expectations for train commuters

It’s autumn in New England, a time to hop in the car for some leaf-peeping or, more likely, time to pull out the rakes and leaf bags.

If you work for Keolis, autumn brings falling leaves and the challenge of “slippery rail” – when leaves on train tracks get ground into a slick film that means your morning commuter train might be late.
