Amtrak might use Gov. Cuomo’s quicker-fix plan to avert the L-pocalypse to repair its own aging tunnels between Manhattan and Queens, the Daily News has learned.
Engineers for the national passenger railroad believe Cuomo’s idea is a “common-sense solution” to fix its century-old tunnels beneath the East River, said Amtrak chairman Anthony Coscia.
