South Florida has seen an alarming number of people trying to beat the new higher-speed Brightline trains — often with tragic consequences. And one city is now tackling the problem.
Boynton Beach is responding to two recent deaths in the city, but other accidents have happened across the region. In Fort Lauderdale, a pedestrian survived being struck by a Brightline train last month.
