SunRail is chugging toward opening its $186.9 million Southern Expansion this summer, which will include four new stations that will bring in more ridership and spur more transit-oriented activity. And the new Kissimmee station is expected to be the busiest of the four.
Already the commuter rail system and the Florida Department of Transportation have projected what the average daily ridership will be at the 18-mile extension of the rail line from Sand Lake Road in south Orange County into Osceola County.
