SunRail future hits impasse between state, Central Florida governments

Central Florida’s expected takeover of SunRail from the state in three years already has run into problems.

The Florida Department of Transportation covers most costs in operating the commuter-rail system, a responsibility the Orlando region is scheduled to assume in mid-2021. But new troubles aren’t about crucial dollars and duties.
