NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – U.S. Senator Blumenthal is calling for Amtrak to reinstate its veteran discount program on Friday.
The company used to give a 15 percent discount on tickets to veterans and their families for more than 17 years, but the program was discontinued in March.
