Passenger rail impact study now under way; it’s the second step to rail service for Bristol, Virginia

BRISTOL, Va. — An international design and consulting firm is beginning to assess the potential economic impact of extending passenger rail service to Bristol.

AECOM, which is headquartered in Los Angeles but has offices in Arlington, Virginia, and around the world, was selected to conduct the study — the second of three required if the Twin City is to ultimately secure passenger rail service.
