Latest scheme to stop UK train overcrowding: Don’t tell waiting passengers that a train is coming and then don’t let them get on

The Government has come up with a novel idea to tackle overcrowding on trains – by not telling commuters on a platform that a train is coming and then not letting them board it.

The plan for ‘hidden’ trains was revealed in a document published yesterday by the Department for Transport.
