Atlanta board vote on Norfolk Southern headquarters deal delayed

There was a delay Friday in Atlanta as the city moves toward adding Norfolk Southern Corp. to its list of roughly 20 Fortune 500 companies.

The board of Invest Atlanta, also known as the Atlanta Development Authority, had to cancel a meeting that had been called for Friday morning because it didn’t have a quorum, authority spokesman Matt Fogt said. He cited  a “last-minute, unexpected scheduling situation.”
